The family of Tony A. Busico would like to wish their dad, grandpa, great grandpa and brother on celebrating his 85th birthday. Tony will be 85 years old on Nov. 9, 2009. He will be having a special birthday dinner in Salt Lake City with his children, other family members and with his very special friend Etta McBride.

Tony was born in 1924 in Tooele to Vincenzo Busico and Charina Masternardi. He was one of 10 children, eight sisters and one brother. He was raised in Tooele and graduated from Tooele High in 1942. He joined the United State Navy in 1943 and served during WWII. In 1947 he went to work for the Tooele Army Depot as a machinist. He later became a supervisor in the Ammunition Peculiar Equipment Division (AEPD) and retired in 1980 with 33 years of service.

He was married in 1948 to Joyce Murphy and they had three children together, Bill, Jim and Teresa. He later divorced. In 1961 he married Anna Marie Buchner and they had two children Mike and Dolores.

Currently he is enjoying good health, family, golfing weekly and various functions at the Tooele Senior Citizen’s Center. When you ask him what his secret is to a long and healthy life he says, drinking a six ounce glass of red wine daily and surrounding himself with his family and friends.

Best wishes to our dad and here is wishing him continued health and happiness.

We love you very much,

Your Family
