Errol passed away Oct. 27, 2009. He was 63 years old.

He was born to Wesley A. Peterson and Alice Wrathall Peterson on June 10, 1946 and was raised in Grantsville. He had a son, Shad. He married Peggy Ann Eden Hildreth April 24, 1986 and became father to an extended family of two sons Michael and Jody, and one daughter Angela.

He loved camping, fishing, Dutch oven cooking, riding his four wheeler and going to Wendover.

Errol was a veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Errol is survived by his wife and stepson Michael of Tooele; sister Lidi Gay (Roger) Hammond, Prosperity, South Carolina; two brothers Brent “Rock” of Tooele and Wylie (Karla) of Grantsville. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Shad, stepson Jody and stepdaughter Angela.

Services will be held Monday, Nov. 2, 1 p.m. at the LDS Church located 141 W. Utah Avenue, Tooele, with a viewing one hour prior to the service. A viewing will also be held Sunday, Nov. 1 from 6-8 p.m. at Tate Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations to help with funeral expenses would be appreciated.
